A world of human, dwarf, and elven lineages, each believing they were the sole sentient species amongst the creatures. When that conceit was shattered as humans developed magically fuelled technologies to conquer and explore the world, wars broke out. These wars escalated until, at last, ultimate primal summonings with untested last resort arcane powers and end-game prototypal technologies clashed and merged into one unfathomable calamity. The Qonrixxus gods called their devout to flee, leading each to creative refuge. The deadly Winds of Retribution blew above ground until perhaps a thousand years later, the clerics of the varied lineages started to proclaim the day of return. Slowly, each lineage group, changed from who they once were, some transformed to be more beast than not, emerges from their refuges and begin their exploration anew. Qonrixxus, a strange, beautiful, wild world that no longer reflects the world they once knew.
