The world of Lazul is a habitable planet that was created by Gods native to the star system Cel. The Lazuli Gods worked with the Gods of the Labyrinth to bring various lineages to populate Lazul. Most of the common fantasy setting lineages were invited to the world through the Labyrinth. Many other lineages have evolved, or been created on Lazul. A few others have migrated through the Labyrinth across the ages. The world consists of three main continents and diverse ecosystems across the continents.

While the factions of the Labyrinth are present on Lazul, they are small compared to the factions native to Lazul. The Lazuli Gods have worked to keep outside forces to a minimum on Lazul after bringing the original lineages from other worlds approximately one millennium ago.
