Dust

Everything starts as dust and return to dust.  Spirits are adjudicated and recycled.   The Red Orb of Callamay has shone brightly in the night skies of Arel for all eternity.  Like clockwork, the Red Orb approaches Arel and dispatches legions of foul creatures led by the Shadowed Lords once a Turning.  Evil creatures arise and civilization is threatened with total destruction.  The Sunlit forces have always repelled the Shadow Lords in the past.  Great heros have arisen and great deeds have been done.  

The last Turning saw tragedy strike with the defeat and rout of the Sunlit forces.  Shadows have befallen the lands, the Sunlit forces are scattered and hunted.  The world is doomed and cries out for heroes once again.
